Brian Boru raised $90 at their hosted event for the Semper Fi Fund on Thursday, July 12th. The manager explained that since it is Summer, they did not have as many customers as expected. The total raised, including the donations received, comes to $185. We will try to do next year’s event sometime in the Spring or Fall to get better results. Brian Boru’s commitment and interest to support the Semper Fi Fund are greatly appreciated. Every dollar counts! We are very grateful for their commitment to this fantastic charity. Thank you, Brian Boru!

I am very happy to inform you that I sent a check for $800 to the Semper Fi Fund this week, resulting from cookbook sales. We sold 25 cookbooks at the fundraiser at Homestead Gardens, and have received orders from the Marine Corps Museum, USS Midway and the Marine Corps Association. Since 2009, and thanks to all our supporters, we have raised a total of $87,171, including $6,500 matched by GoDaddy.com from their program to support the Semper Fi Fund. If you would like to order any cookbooks, please e-mail me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. The cookbooks are only $10/ea. plus shipping via media mail, which is the most economical way.
